The 2008 MobileMondy Peer Awards recognized 27 companies from 18 countries at its annual awards event held at this years Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. This popular innovation focused event combined dynamic new mobile industry concepts with plenty of fun and a dash of juicy networking at Telefonicas fashionable Espacio Movistar facility.
Three awards in each category: jury, audience, and community were judged by an expert jury including representatives from Telefónica R&D, Mobile Marketing Association, Vodafone Group, Google, Nexit Ventures, eXtract, MobHappy, GoMoNews, the MobileMonday global chapter founders and audience SMS voting.
